Sports presenter is recovering with her boyfriend Robert Sandberg in Los Angeles following four-hour 'fat grafting' surgery to fix damaged implant. Beverly Hills-based Dr Jay Calvert, a plastic surgeon expert, performed the procedure, which involved transferring fat from one part of Mia's body to her breast. He explained the "deflated boob" was partly caused due to the position of her implant, which was about seven or eight years old. Mia, 26, said: "Getting hit by the hockey puck damaged my breast but saved my life!" When ruptured, saline and silicone from breast implants can leak into the body and cause serious infection.

Mia was there to root for her Washington Capitals ( FYI: to say Mia is a HUGE Caps fan is a vast understatement).


In was in this game 4 vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning when symmetry struck. Or an errant slap shot did, right into Mia. She said that the impact of the frozen vulcanized rubber was so strong as the errant slapper hit her, that she thought she had been shot!
